Zirconium corundum product introduction
Zirconium corundum is smelted from alumina and zirconia in an electric arc furnace at a high temperature above 2000°C. Zirconium corundum has tough texture, dense structure, high strength, good thermal stability, and is generally taupe. The main mineral phase of zirconium corundum is the eutectic formed by a-Al2O3 and Al2O3-ZrO2, the secondary crystal phase is baddeleyite, and there is also a small amount of glass phase. According to the content of ZrO2, generally 25 zirconium corundum (ZrO2 25%) and 40 zirconium corundum (ZrO2 40%).
