White corundum density is divided into two types,
One is the bulk density of white corundum and the other is the true density of white corundum. The bulk density is: 1.53~1.99g/cm3, the bulk density of the abrasive is related to the particle size, particle size composition, variety, particle shape and other factors of the abrasive, in general, the bulk density of coarse particle size abrasives is greater than that of fine particle size abrasives, and the bulk density of mixed particle size abrasives is greater than the single particle size density. The particle density is: 3.95~4.0g/cm3, and in recent years, the true density of corundum special for precision casting of Henan Sicheng Grinding Technology Co., Ltd. has reached 4.1g/cm3.
The true density of the abrasive refers to the basic particle size of the abrasive contained in the unit volume (excluding the volume of open pores): 45% ~ 55%, the basic particle size is an important indicator to ensure the grinding effect, and should be properly controlled during production, but the production speed may slow down.
