Some experiments have compared the process of roasting and non-calcining two kinds of bauxite, and the result is that roasting can reduce the unit energy consumption by 14% to 18% H5. . my country’s bauxite is high-silicon and low-iron bauxite, the higher the aluminum-silicon ratio, the higher the grade, and the technical and economic indicators of brown corundum smelting depend to a large extent on the quality of the main raw material bauxite, namely The higher the grade, the better the technical and economic indicators of brown corundum smelting. Quantitatively analyzed the unit power consumption and raw material consumption of a factory. The factory uses bauxite with a silicon-aluminum ratio of 11.57 to 18.44. When the silicon-aluminum ratio is increased by 1, the power consumption per 1 ton of brown corundum block is smelted. It can reduce 71.6kVA. Finally, it is concluded that the unit power consumption of bauxite with high silicon-aluminum ratio is low, and the amount of bauxite required for smelting brown corundum is small; The relationship diagram between the aluminum ratio and the main technical and economic indicators reveals that the higher the bauxite grade, the better, the smelting process is easy to master, the furnace condition is stable, the hourly output is high, the unit power consumption is low, and the consumption of raw materials is also small; Wang Jinxian¨ Yin et al. pointed out in the energy-saving opinions of smelting corundum by electromelting that the higher the content of bauxite impurity SiO2, the more complex the furnace conditions during smelting, the higher the unit power consumption and the lower the output, and may even cause difficulties in magnetic separation of corundum processing.
